Aftercare
I generally apply Saniderm immediately after a tattoo session. I recommend keeping the bandage on for 3-4 days, but it’s not the end of the world if you need to take it off before then. You must refrain from working out and sweating especially while it is on, so if you start seeing sweat bubbles forming under the wrap I would remove it immediately and clean it with antibacterial soap and warm water. When removing the bandage I would run it under warm water and non scented soap to help loosen the adhesive rather than ripping it off like a bandage dry. After that you can wash it with warm water and antibacterial soap, pat it dry with a clean paper towel and then start using any tattoo aftercare products such as Mad Rabbit or any non scented lotions!
Benefits of Saniderm and Mad Rabbit:
- Mad Rabbit uses natural, organic, non-toxic ingredients which are safe for the skin. You will never find parabens or anything artificial in their aftercare products. They have lotions, ointment, soaps, sunscreens and more for both during and after the healing process. There are also travel sizes that make it easy for you to take anywhere!
- Saniderm’s tattoo aftercare bandage creates a barrier around your freshly tattooed skin, protecting it from dust, bacteria, moisture, and other external irritants. This transparent tattoo tape is completely waterproof yet breathable to ensure that the skin receives the airflow it needs to heal and remain sweat-free.
